Wesley Moore brings more than 5 years of industry accounting experience to his role at BDCo. A graduate of Pacific Union College (P.U.C.) with a BA in Business Administration,  Wesley also completed the Accounting Certificate program at the University of California, Los Angeles.  Wesley's prior work experience has been in locations that provided ample opportunities to ski including Mammoth Lakes, California and his current home, Salt Lake City, Utah.  An avid outdoorsman, Wesley enjoys a wide variety of activities including fly fishing (hand-tied), hiking, biking, and of course skiing.  Wesley had plenty of time to appreciate the unique (but non-skiable) mountains of the Napa Valley during his years at P.U.C. and looks forward to applying his skills in the wine industry.

Michael Fahlikman brings a depth of experience to his tax position at BDCo. Originally from Queens, New York, Michael is a graduate of Queens College of the City University of New York where he holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Information Systems. He has had experience working in both corporate roles and public accounting firms which has given him a wealth of insights into the needs of businesses of all kinds. His title reflects his role at the firm and his passion for the animals at the Wake County North Carolina SPCA shelter where he is a trained volunteer. You will find him spending most of his free weekends there with 4 or 5 dogs at a time. We are glad he chose to pursue accounting as a career rather than zookeeping, which was his aspiration at one time. Michael’s favorite place is Asheville, North Carolina where he enjoys wine tasting at the Biltmore and exploring the scenic trails of the Blue Ridge mountains. Michael is a CPA, licensed by both the the New York State Board of Public Accountancy and by the North Carolina State Board of CPA Examiners.

Guy Carl has been a CPA with BDCo since 1992 and a partner since 2005. He specializes in helping small wineries with tax preparation and planning, financial statements, forecasting, and accounting software guidance. Guy enjoys helping business owners understand how their businesses work and perform, and empowering them to be more successful. Born and raised in the Napa Valley, Guy holds an accounting degree from St. Mary's College. He is a past-active member of the Napa Active 20-30 Club, an organization dedicated to helping children in the community. An avid outdoorsman, Guy can often be found alongside a mountain stream or floating on a lake with a fishing pole nearby. Guy is a CPA licensed by the California Board of Accountancy.

Dawn Marshall is a Napa native.  She briefly left the Napa Valley for a sojourn to Miami, Florida but returned to Napa to begin her professional career. Her first job was in a florist, before moving to high-end hospitality, then winery accounting and for the past 17 years she has been serving in a number of different roles in city government, culminating in the role of Human Resources and Administrative Manager. She is a two time recipient of “Award of Financial Reporting” by the Government Finance Officers Association. When she’s not helping “humans with resources”, she is likely to be gardening, quilting, or arranging items in her home to be more aesthetically pleasing. Dawn is the mother of 3 children – 2 sons and a daughter who all seem to have inherited some of her creative abilities. As a young woman, Dawn went off to purchase her first automobile, a Renault, at a local Napa automobile dealer. While she was unsuccessful in securing her dream automobile, she ultimately walked away with a first date with her now husband of 29 years.

Erica Riddle, CPA is a manager at Brotemarkle Davis & Co. specializing in assurance services, operational reviews and business consulting.  Erica also serves as the firm's wine industry analyst, spearheading the firm's efforts to provide and share key insights into the wine business with our customers.  Erica joined BDCo in 2013 with a Masters in Accounting from California State University, Sacramento and is certified in Strategic Performance Management. Prior to joining BDCo, she was the Labor Optimization Manager at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. Although her office was located right next to a roller coaster, Erica says her favorite attraction at the park was the tigers she first got to know as cubs.  As a knitting hobbyist, Erica says the key to her success is patience and concentration, which also makes her a wizard at spreadsheets, programming, and all things accounting. She also holds the unprecedented distinction of being a candy maker and is a "third-generation Riddle Brittler". Erica is a CPA licensed by the California Board of Accountancy.

Rebekah Kramer, CPA is a manager at Brotemarkle Davis & Co. specializing in assurance services and business consulting.   She is originally from Napa, California and is a Justin-Sienna High School alumnus. She is a graduate of Concordia University, Irvine where she majored in Business Administration with a dual emphasis in Marketing and Accounting.  She spent three years working for a Southern California accounting firm before returning to the Napa Valley. While she may not find many opportunities to apply her SoCal yacht-counting expertise (she once had to count yachts docked in ports from San Diego to Newport), her diverse audit skills honed from working with customers in Oil and Gas, Manufacturing, and Real Estate are a big plus. Rebekah first stretched her entrepreneurial muscles when she founded a chapter of co-ed business fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi, at Concordia. She hopes to apply what she learned not only to her role as an auditor but also to some day opening an animal shelter. When she is not busy auditing, you might find Rebekah exploring a new trail or revisiting one of her favorite national parks – Denali in Alaska.  Rebekah is a CPA licensed by the California Board of Accountancy.

Summer joins the BDCO tax team remotely from her home in Montana. After experiencing 4 previous tax seasons, she has a passion for tax planning and still gets excited about IRA to Roth conversions as a tax-saving strategy. (Be sure to ask her.) A graduate of North Dakota State University, Summer majored in accounting and minored in fraud investigation and found her way to accounting by accident. She was headed towards a career in law enforcement until she took that first accounting class and discovered a new passion. When Summer isn’t focused on taxes, she is an avid animé fan and appreciates the teachings that are delivered by its profound characters.  While she had the good fortune of spending a number of her childhood years in the beautiful country of Bahrain, her ideal vacation destination is Japan during the cherry blossom festival.   Summer is a CPA licensed by the  Montana Board of Public Accountants.

Ina Larot has more than 15 years of experience as a tax accountant. She began her career with 9 years at a Big Four CPA firm where she specialized in trust taxation before moving on to local CPA firms where she expanded her experience to include business entities and individual taxes. A fervent traveler and an excellent cook, Ina has a daily adventure navigating her way across Jameson Canyon and up Highway 29. In her spare time, Ina is working to pass the CPA exam, when she is not being (pleasantly) distracted by her granddaughter.  Ina is an Enrolled Agent, licensed by the Internal Revenue Service.

*Definition is here.  When asked about her favorite part of her last job, Alex Castro was quick to respond "the view".  An avid appreciator of both the beauties of nature and the essence of people, one of her favorite non-work activities is to head to the beach to watch the sunset. Alex is a Napa native with experience in the wine and sports training industries.  Arriving for her first day of work in the middle of the Covid-19 stay at home order, Alex met the team online.  Her upbeat energy and positive, infectious attitude are a great addition to our customer service team - both in person and online.
