The Science of Measurement - how to drive consistent results in your winery

KPI's. They are all the rage. "KPI" is short hand for "key performance indicator" and refers to financial and non-financial measures that are at the forefront of the movement to create actionable insights.

In this session, you will learn how to create and use key winery metrics to drive the results you want.

You will apply both leading and lagging* (after the fact) indicators as you work through winery case studies to create your own.

* by "lagging" we aren't talking about Junior after a day of over-beveraging with a customer.

My Accounting Software is Too Tight! What to do when it no longer fits your business.

NOTE: Date has been changed to 3/26/19

Many Napa Valley wineries rely on QuickBooks (Desktop or Online) to manage their businesses.  While these solutions are adequate for managing core financial functions, what happens when your operations expand, your team goes remote, or your sales and management applications get more complicated?

In this class, we will help winery leaders evaluate their business and accounting needs to determine if they are getting the information needed to run their business.

We will talk about options for core accounting, applications that extend the capabilities of your current solution, and options for higher end applications that lead to managerial insights.
