Napa Sonoma Fires (10/11/17)
The team at BDCo sends our heartfelt support to friends and neighbors who continue to deal with the effects of local fires and changing winds. So far, many lives and homes have been lost, area businesses have been damaged, cell and electrical services are not fully restored, and air quality is bad. But the community spirit prevails.
We are grateful for the efforts of fire fighters (with little rest) and emergency service professionals who are taking care of us all.
Our top concern is for the safety of employees and their families and we are therefore asking everyone on our team to work from home through the end of this week 10/13. Our St. Helena office is closed. Those members of our team with access to power and Internet will be available by email.
While our area has been deemed a Federal Disaster Area, there have been no official announcements regarding the impact on tax return filing deadlines from either the IRS or the Franchise Tax Board . We will provide additional information as it is available. (See updated extension information here.)
