Dave Brotemarkle has been a CPA for over 25 years and has been with BDCo since 1990. He is managing partner for the firm, and specializes in tax and business advising. Dave enjoys using his experience with both business and life issues. He helps wine and hospitality owners manage both the financial and personal issues involved in running their companies successfully. Dave has served as President of the St. Helena Rotary Club, and as Chairman of the St. Helena Rotary Winter Ball, and is a past chairman of the St. Helena Chamber of Commerce. He has also served on the boards of the St. Helena Boys and Girls Club, St. Helena Public Schools Foundation, St. Helena Hospital, St. Helena Community Center and St. Helena Elementary School Parents Group. Dave holds an accounting degree from California State University, Long Beach.
Tom Davis has been a CPA for 33 years and has been specializing in the wine and hospitality businesses since 1979. Tom offers customers superior technical knowledge and the wisdom of his vast wine industry experience. Tom graduated from Pennsylvania State University and went on to work for Arthur Anderson & Co. in New York City before moving to California. He is active in the Kiwanis Club, the Sierra Club, and the Napa County Land Trust.
Craig Underhill has been a CPA for over 25 years and has been with BDCo since 1995. He uses his accounting and management experience to help wine and hospitality organizations manage their businesses strategically and effectively. He has studied strategic management, productivity and human behavior, and uses this expertise to help people, from executive management to hourly staff, be more successful. Craig excels at helping people ask questions that allow them to unlock their potential, solve problems and improve their performance. He is the board chair for Junior Achievement in Napa County and has led JA's expansion from 250 participants to over 4,000 annually. He holds a business administration degree from California State University, Chico and is certified in Strategic Performance Management.
Guy Carl has been a CPA with BDCo since 1992. He specializes in helping small wineries with tax preparation and planning, financial statements, forecasting, and accounting software guidance. Guy enjoys helping business owners understand how their businesses work and perform, and empowering them to be more successful. Born and raised in the Napa Valley, Guy holds an accounting degree from St. Mary's College. He is a long-standing member of the Napa Active 20-30 Club, an organization dedicated to helping children in the community. An avid outdoorsman, Guy writes a weekly column on the great outdoors in the Napa Valley Register.

Nathan Anulo has 5 years of experience accounting for the hospitality industry in Napa Valley. Nathan's prior roles include accounting manager in the hospitality industry and treasurer of the Pacific Union College Preparatory School. His role at BDCo includes both tax and audit assignments for various customers. Originally from Ethiopia, Nathan has been active in the St. Helena Hospital and Angwin Community Services and is treasurer of the Active 20-30 of Napa. He is a graduate of Pacific Union College in Angwin, California.
Michael Cardozo has been in public accounting in Northern Calfornia for four years prior to joining the tax team at Brotemarkle Davis. He is a graduate of Sonoma State University in Rohnert Park, CA and enjoys bringing order to the chaos of customer accounting records. He was a nationally ranked tennis player with the US Tennis Association and played tennis for both UC Davis and Sonoma State. Michael enjoys spending much of his spare time racing his Honda S2000 at Infineon.
Randy Gnagy has been a CPA for over 25 years and has worked with BDCo since 2000. He is the firm's senior tax specialist, and has a great deal of experience in interstate taxation and tax preparation for nonprofit organizations. Over the years he has been active in Junior Achievement, the Arts Council of Napa Valley, and the Napa Valley Shakespeare Festival, and is currently on the board of Napa Emergency Women's Services. He has also done volunteer work at local schools. He holds a BA in history from California State University, Fresno.

Terry Hollenstain, CPA has worked in wine industry accounting since 1981 including a stint as Assistant Controller for a Sonoma County winery. She has experience in systems implementations, training of accounting personnel, audit and accounting, and taxation.A roll-up-your-sleeves sort of gal, Terry loves to help people learn about accounting and the financial management of their business. In her spare time, she is a Humane Society volunteer and is training her Schnauzer to be a Pet Therapy dog. She holds a BA in English from Sonoma State University.

Jesse Mackey has 4 years of accounting experience. He worked at both a large national CPA firm and a local firm before joining the BDCo audit team. He is a native of Rohnert Park, California and a graduate of Sonoma State University. Jesse enjoys cycling around Northern California, particularly on his mountain bike at Annadel State Park in Santa Rosa and on his road bike traversing the hundreds of miles of country roads throughout Sonoma, Marin, and Napa counties. During the spring and summer months, he enjoys competing in local mountain bike races.
Sam Martin, a CPA, has been with BDCo since 2005. He is also a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), and specializes in using his tax experience and business skills to help businesses improve their operations. Sam performs audits, reviews, and compilations, and prepares compliance reports. He also helps customers implement the Business Digital Dashboard system to allow them to view and use their critical business information through an interactive, visual format. Sam holds an accounting degree from California State University, Chico. He is active with the Free & Accepted Masons of California.

Jan Massoletti has been Firm Administrator at BDCo since 1996. In addition to managing the office, supporting team members, and ensuring that systems and processes run smoothly, she also helps plan our events and keep our team in logo shirts. She attended Napa Valley College and is active in Soroptimist International, an organization that supports women and girls on both the local and international level. In her spare time, she can sometimes be found working in a small vineyard along with her husband and friends -- doing everything from pruning the vines, to picking the grapes, to making the wine.
Chris Meineke specializes in wine industry accounting and has been with BDCo since 2006. He provides audit, review, valuation and CFO services, as well as inventory and financial analysis. He enjoys helping wineries understand how their business is performing and how to improve operations and value. He holds a BS in managerial economics and a BA in history from the University of California at Davis. He is a CPA and an ABV (Accredited in Buisness Valuation.)

Tammy Sigsby has been a member of the BDCo team since 1996. She graduated from Napa College in 1995. She wears many hats around the office - but her favorite hat is the one she wears when she provides excellent customer service. She enjoys interacting with visitors to the firm and helps ensure our customers are attended to in a professional manner. She prides herself on recognizing callers by their voice.
Patricia Walker is a CPA with over 20 years of experience in taxation, and currently manages the firm's tax department. Patricia holds a masters degree in tax, and specializes in tax research, estate planning, compliance, and tax planning for high net worth individuals and their businesses. She excels in working with attorneys and customers to evaluate, implement, and monitor estate plans. Patricia graduated from San Jose State University with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. In 2003, she completed her Masters in Taxation from Golden Gate University in San Francisco. She is currently the treasurer of Napa Humane and is the immediate past-president of Soroptimist International of Napa, an organization that supports women and girls on both the local and international level.
Geni is passionate about applying accounting and technology to improve business results. Her primary area of focus is expanding BDCo's strategic management services. Geni's experience ranges from public accounting to corporate tax, from software vendor to software implementer, and from serving small businesses to Fortune 500 companies. She has held executive positions with prominent companies including Elliott Davis Technology Solutions, Gross Duke and Nelson, PC, Navision Software US, and Sage Software.
Geni is an instructor at the WISE Academy,where she teaches accounting concepts to winery staff and is a former board member of the Napa/Sonoma Chapter of Women for WineSense where she served as Education Director.
She is a team member of TEDxNapaValley.org and spoke at their event in September of 2011.
