We think the simple idea of Starting with Why* can make a big difference.
If you want to start with your beliefs and create actions that support them,
join our free community.
It can work for you.
Take a step back and think about why you do what you do. Then start figuring out what (if anything) you need to do differently. Then join our community for help staying on track.
It has worked for us.
It all started with one 16 minute (16 minutes and 47 seconds to be exact) video on Ted.com. Once we watched it and really started thinking about our individual "Whys" and how they fit with our firm goals, it changed everything.
It changed the way we operate as a CPA firm. First we started talking differently. Then we started acting differently. Because we believe in customers, employees, and life in the Napa Valley, we've added free classes, built discussion groups, and are constantly looking for ways to improve life for everyone in the Napa Valley. (You can learn more about how our Why changes the way we operate here.)
It takes effort.
You don't just think of a new approach and then change everything. Some people will resist change. You have to work at it - day by day, week by week. It can be tiring. But you don't have to go it alone.
Our next gathering will be on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 from 4-5:00.
Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of every month at 899 Adams Street in St. Helena.
