Why did we do this?

We moved to our new office at 899 Adams Street, Suite H in October of 2010. We had brand new walls and needed a fresh start. So we decided to use artwork that reflects the beliefs that guide our firm.We believe in "Putting People First" - and it influences everything we do.

When we asked ourselves why we are in this business, this is what we came up with:

We believe customers have the best answers. So we listen to them.
We believe employees have the best ideas. So we trust them.
We believe Napa Valley is the best place to work, live and visit.
So we work to protect it. We live to enjoy it. We savor the company.

Contest goal

Our goal was to end up with photographs that reflect the people of the Napa Valley in support of the BDCo core beliefs that we have outlined above. We wanted to involve our employees, our customers and our community in creating the artwork.

Contest entries were judged based on overall image quality and how well they captured the sentiments described above. More details about our firm philosophy are here.
